Weekly Report: April 23-29

Not much happened over the course of this week. We had practices as normal, with one each day in the morning, and an added afternoon practice on Wednesday. The only thing really worth noting was the game against Banff’s prep team, who we finally got to play in Cochrane (instead of having to drive out to their rink.) for the game; we picked up a few players to help with our short bench, some of which had played with us before. The game stayed close with both teams scoring 3 goals by the end of the second. Unfortunately however, the game end in a 3-4 loss, with Banff getting a very lucky goal with less than three minutes left if the game. Some guys seemed a little upset, but we knew that we would be able to get our revenge somewhere down the road.
