SISECS 2012-2013 Season Recap
What started out as a slow and setback filled season, ended in May 2013 in Minnesota. The team finished fourth in the tournament. SISEC is now preparing for final exams in 3 weeks and finishing up school before heading home for the summer. The team started out the season with injuries, losses, and inter-team issues. Many players came and went, and this led to many problems with team chemistry. The later and later in the year more changes came. It finally came in the mid-late period in the year, the team was winning games on its way to playoffs and developing a sense of unity and family. The team advanced to the second round of NAMHL playoffs and was heading to two more tournaments. The team worked hard and had fun in both Niagara Falls and Minneapolis winning some games with scores like 8-1 and 6-1. The team showed heart in both tournaments but couldn't pull off any hardware. The team will be having their final practices in these final weeks recapping what they learned and reflecting on the season. We hope to build off of our late season success and start a new beginning in 2013-2014 which is anticipated in being a very successful season!
