Weekly Report: February 27 - March 4

On Monday, we had no practices so we could relax a bit from the weekend. On Tuesday, we had morning practice again and everybody was ready to work even harder than till now to get rid of the bad feeling of the weekend and to be ready for the CSSHL playoffs in Penticton. After practice we went to school and as usually we were late because Hugh is driving the bus way too slow. After school we went to Dean's and because we didn't have it for a long time some guys forgot their gym clothes. We worked really hard there too and I think everybody was tired afterwards. On Wednesday, we had again morning practice and everybody worked pretty well again and was very tired because we did a lot of skating. After practice we went to school like usually. When school finally was over, Coach Hugh picked us up and drove us to Spray Lakes for afternoon practice. Once again we worked really hard and it was a good practice. On Thursday, we had morning practice again and we worked hard but again we had to skate the last couple of minutes. After school we had Dean's again and we worked hard there too. On Friday, we had morning practice again. We did a lot system things like power play and penalty kill systems, so it was too hard. After we went to school and because it's friday, it was only a short day. In the evening a couple of guys wanted to go and watch Goon but the Movie House had some problems so they didn't show it. So some of the guys went bowling. On Saturday it was our day off so most of the guys were relaxing. Because it was Michael's birthday in the evening we went to his house to celebrate with him. On Sunday we had a game against BHA Prep in Banff. We didn't have a good start with two goals against in five minutes. After that it got better and we started to get control of the game. After 60 minutes it was tied so we went to overtime. There nobody scored either so they just stopped the game. They final score was 3:3. it was a good game and i think we are prepared for the Playoff tournament in Penticton next week.
